Centre of Hope Christian Academy

Vision of COH Christian Academy
"To be a centre of hope releasing the spirit of revival to the children
of our school and community with the love of Father God and the power
of the Holy Spirit, bringing freedom and restoration through Jesus Christ;
To release spiritual and intellectual growth in the lives of the children
encouraging them and helping them to become all and embrace all that
God has planned for their lives."

Proverbs 4:7 says:
"Wisdom is the principle thing: therefore get wisdom,
and with all thy getting, get understanding."

Curriculum Program
Centre of Hope Academy is implementing the Accelerated Christian
Education program put out by the School of Tomorrow and adheres to their
prescribed educational qualifications.

The four keys to Accelerated Christian Education:

  1. Individualization - Whether the student is a high-achiever or a moderate-paced learner, this education process begins at the exact level determined by the child's ability. This makes it possible for each student to begin at their actual level of achievement and master the subjectmatter before proceeding. Such mastery is the foundation upon which all future learning is built.
  2. Academic Excellence - Individualization produces academic excellence.
Students show above-average achievements and go on to higher
education, business or professional pursuits with confidence.
  3. Character Building - Character training prepares students to welcome
and accept future opportunities and challenges.
  4. Traditional Values - concepts considered foundational to meaningful
interpersonal relationships and productive living are taught throughout
the program to become life-shaping influences. Students are taught
to see life from God's point of view and to walk in wisdom.

Ray Richards, a teacher of 31 years in the public school system is
Centre of Hope Academy's principal. He and the rest of the COH staff
have a great love for children and will strive to encourage and nurture
the student's individual relationship with God on a daily basis. Ray and staff
realize that they are the "Living Curriculum", whose influence is greater than
any printed material thereby living their lives after a manner just as to bring glory
to our Lord Jesus.
